Trap


The city is hanging
On strings
The sky is nothing but rock
We live under the cliff
And pray
And prey
On each other
And hope
We don't fall

We walk along the city limits
And look over the edge
Nothing but a thousand foot fall
Should we ever try to leave
This place

And we're trapped
In this town
And we're trapped
In this place
And we cant leave
And we cant breathe
So we sit and wait
For death
Or any fucking
Escape
We can chemically
Feel.

The horizon is beautiful
But we're sick of this scene.
